These Terms form an agreement between you and Frogduction when you access or use MuffSniffer. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Eligibility and lawful access
You may use MuffSniffer only if you are at least 18, have reached the legal age for adult material where you are located, and may lawfully access it. You must comply with local law. A self-declared age confirmation is not represented as sufficient age assurance in every country. We may block a location or require a verified age signal where a stronger rule applies.
2. The service
MuffSniffer provides a free search and catalogue interface for metadata and authorised previews from approved commercial sources. We do not host or play the full content. Outbound buttons take you to independent partner services and are advertising links, as explained in our Affiliate Disclosure. We may add, remove, correct, restrict, rerank, or stop offering listings or features.
3. Limited permission to use MuffSniffer
While you comply with these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to access the public interface for lawful, non-commercial use. This permission does not transfer ownership of the service, software, catalogue compilation, branding, or any source content.
4. Prohibited use
You must not:
- evade or falsify age, geographic, security, case-access, or rate-limit controls;
- seek, submit, promote, or facilitate content prohibited by our Acceptable Content Policy;
- interfere with the service, probe it without authorisation, introduce malicious code, or overload it;
- scrape, crawl, copy, republish, or train a model on the service or its catalogue except as allowed by law or our written permission;
- use automated access in a way that ignores published technical restrictions or harms the service or its partners;
- submit a knowingly false, fraudulent, duplicative, or harassing report or impersonate another person;
- collect, expose, or misuse personal data, case credentials, or performer information; or
- use MuffSniffer or a destination link for any unlawful purpose or to infringe another person's rights.
5. Intellectual property and source content
The MuffSniffer name, design, software, and original compilation are owned by or licensed to the operator. Listing metadata and previews may be owned by partners, studios, performers, or other right holders and remain subject to their rights. You may not remove notices or imply endorsement. If you believe a listing infringes a right, use our Notice and Action procedure.
6. Independent services
A partner controls its destination, content, pricing, account, payment, availability, and privacy practices. Its terms and privacy notice apply when you use it. We review sources and destinations but cannot control every later change and do not become a party to your transaction with a partner. Check the destination and its terms before paying or providing personal data.
7. Reporting, moderation, and access restrictions
We may investigate suspected breaches, preserve limited evidence, restrict or remove listings, suspend a source, block requests, or refer conduct where legally permitted or required. We may restrict your access if reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, performers, partners, or rights holders, or to comply with law. Nothing in these Terms prevents a good-faith report of suspected illegality to us or a competent authority.
8. Availability and disclaimers
We aim to keep metadata accurate and destinations safe, but partner-supplied descriptions, availability, prices, and content can change. To the extent permitted by law, MuffSniffer is provided as available without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or suitable for a particular purpose. We do not warrant independent destination services. Nothing here affects a guarantee, remedy, or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or deliberate misconduct, or any mandatory consumer protection. Subject to that rule, the operator is not liable for an independent destination's acts, content, contract, or payment, or for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when you began using the service. You remain responsible for your lawful use and for securing your case credentials.
10. Changes and termination
You may stop using MuffSniffer at any time. We may suspend or discontinue all or part of the service. We may update these Terms for legal, safety, operational, or service changes. The updated Terms will show a new effective date; material changes will not apply retroactively where the law prohibits that. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
11. Governing law and general terms
These Terms are governed by Danish law, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections of the country in which the consumer habitually lives. A consumer may bring proceedings in any court available under mandatory law; otherwise, disputes are subject to the competent courts of Denmark. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
